Welcome To IMT-VIPD Police Monitor Web Site
The IMT-VIPD Police Monitor Web Site, was established to provide public information regarding the monitoring of the current U.S. District Court Consent Decree with the Territory of the U.S. Virgin Islands and the U.S. Virgin Island Police Department (VIPD). The Independent Monitoring Team (IMT) has been tasked to conduct Consent Decree compliance monitoring and report on progress to the Court. The monitors operate independent from the VIPD and report to the U.S. District Court. They do not accept Use of Force Complaints, which should be directed to the VIPD.
